Krell Annual meetingsThe Public Law Section of the State Bar of California is offering an all-day training program on April 26 for attorneys and others on various aspects of the Brown Act and the California Public Records Act.  Attorneys attending the program at the Bar’s Los Angeles headquarters can earn 7.75 hours of continuing legal education credit, including one hour in legal ethics. Among the attorneys presenting instruction on various topics will be Kelly Aviles, Vice President for Open Government Compliance for Californians Aware, as will as Julie Hayward Biggs of Ayleshire and Wynder LLP, a member of CalAware’s board of directors, and Terry Francke, CalAware’s general counsel.
