The Form 700 shows whether elected board members, or key employees in charge of approving district contracts for goods or services, may have income sources (stock, partnerships, business ownerships, etc.) – directly or through community property with their spouses – that may legally disqualify them from voting on (or approving as staff) proposals that could financially benefit those interest.

    — solicitation or acceptance of gifts or favors contrary to law or district policy, and/or
